Tea – Let’s be honest here! I’m a tea addict.
It’s the only thing I drink really apart from water. There are endless flavours to choose from with different combinations and all different types, like black, rooibos, oolong, green, white, herbal, Yerba Maté and Pu’reh..
I drink tea in the morning, afternoon and evening and pretty much all the time in between!
My go-to is definitely loose leaf Earl Grey with a splash of milk – LOVE IT!
Below is a list of all my favourite teas, as well as recommendations on where to find them!
Earl Grey – lots of different places to get it from, but this is my favourite brand from 49th Parallel
Matcha – delicious with coconut milk as a tea latte or added into a smoothie. I currently have ‘Two Hills Matcha’ available at Save on Foods and London Drugs or online here.
Lavender Earl Grey – I make this one myself with 1:1 Earl Grey & Lavender. Delicious with a little honey or some warm milk of your choice as a tea latte.
Fresh Mint Tea – exactly as it sounds, I just put some mint leaves in a cup of hot water. Love the freshness of this
Coco Chai Rooibos – sweet and mild with a hint of spice from Davids Tea
If you’re new to David’s Tea, their starter pack has 7 tea in it, and they’re a nice way to try out a few.
Mint Green Tea by Tetley – similar to mint tea, but with caffeine. Sold at most grocery stores.
Pina Colada Tea by Tetley – pineapple coconut and caffeine free. Sold at most grocery stores.
Chamomile Tea – great for the evenings to help you sleep, but this is one to NOT over steep. I personally find it ends up kinda bitter. Available anywhere that sells tea!
Pure Leaf Berry Tea – Black tea with a hint of berries – amazing over ice. Sold at most grocery stores.
White Tea with Raspberry by Tetley – subtle berry flavour, but again delicious over ice. Sold at most grocery stores.
Decaf Earl Grey by Tetley – because sometimes I just want a cup of black tea in the evening without the caffeine.
