Soar Organics Matcha – If you’re a Matcha Addict like me, this Matcha does NOT disappoint. It is the first Matcha I’ve been able to drink without adding milk to and I’m happy to say its a Vancouver based Company. Besides, no coffee jitters!
Turmeric Latte – Organika makes a delicious Coconut Turmeric Latte that all you need is to add water to making it really easy to make. Turmeric has many benefits like Anti Inflammatory properties and it tastes delicious. It’s definitely a good go-to evening drink for me.
Four Sigmatic – Mushroom Coffee. Don’t knock it til you try it – seriously. I thought it was so weird, but I was surprised to find how delicious it was. The added Benefits of mushrooms with your daily coffee. Each offering different benefits like Focus, Chill, Productivity, etc.
You’d never know there were mushrooms in it – really!
Teapigs – Delicious teas! Both available in looseleaf and pouches – plastic free of course! Originally based in the UK, but available in 35 countries now.
My favourite tea of their’s is the Earl Grey, but I recently tried their Chili Chai and its got a nice spicy kick, too.
Bobs Red Mill – I have always been a fan of Bob’s Red Mill products and most recently got their Nutritional Yeast. This stuff is often referred to as ‘Nooch’ by Vegans and is great for making Vegan cheese sauce!
Zazubean Chocolate – Organic and Fair-trade Chocolate bars that really are delicious! Non GMO, Soy and Gluten Free. My favourite so far is the Pomegranate and Hazelnut, but the Sea Salt and Almond one is also delicious!
Soy Curls – These are a GAME CHANGER!! Similar texture to chicken, great for adding to Noodle Soup or vegan Butter Chicken.
Hippie Snacks – I tried their “crackers” recently and OH. MY. WORD. I can’t believe I never had them before! The Cauliflower ones are delicious and the Avocado ones are also delicious. Crunchy, vegan, gluten free.. You’re missing out if you aren’t eating them.
Pasta – Now those who know me know I LOVE pasta.. like ate it way more often than I would admit and then one day I had to give up Gluten.. that is when the gluten free pasta search started. There is pasta made from everything from Rice and Quinoa to Peas and Lentils.. Costco used to sell a really good Lentil Spaghetti noodle and then one day quit carrying it. I was so sad! I recently got their Quinoa and Rice Pasta to try, so I’ll let you know how that is. Another really good pasta brand is GoGo Quinoa. My favourite are these Elbow Macaroni.
Nut Butters – Cashew Butter is oh so yummy! I used to only get Peanut Butter, but a few years ago ventured into the world of Cashew and Almond Butters and most recently, Sunflower Seed Butter. Peanut and Cashew are still my favourite, but there are so many out there now there is something for everyone! Especially if you make it yourself. I even have a recipe for 5 minute Peanut Butter. I get the Nuts to You brand available in most grocery stores and also available at Well.ca.
Coconut Oil – Coconut Oil is great for many things. I use it to remove my makeup, moisturizing my skin after a sunburn (its great for removing the heat from the burn), it’s great for making magic shell chocolate, as a hair mask and almost anything else you can think of. I won a giveaway and was gifted some Coconut Oil from Everland Foods and I really like it.
Coconut Milk – This is always an interesting one and one that I find to be overwhelming in the grocery store. All the labels have differing amounts of Coconut Extract to water, some with extra added things. My favourite is Aroy-D for affordability or Thai Kitchen which is USDA Organic.
MadeGood – If you need a good granola bar these are them! Many flavours and available in granola bites as well, they make a great snack. My favourite flavour is Mixed Berry. They are free from Gluten and Nuts so safe for school lunches, as well as VEGAN!
GF Bread – This bread doesn’t even taste Gluten Free! Seriously. Not soggy/spongy/dense like a lot of GF Bread is I find. It is the same size as a regular loaf of bread (thick or thin sliced), decently priced and also Vegan. I love to buy it at Costco in the two pack, but you can find a list of Where to Buy it on their website if you don’t shop at Costco.
