Well, even if you aren’t a morning snoozer, smoothies are great to take on the go and are probably the quickest breakfast (except for maybe overnight oats). I tend to just throw together whatever I have on hand, but here is my go to
green berry smoothie! Shh – don’t tell anyone its actually green.
1.5 C Berries – Blueberry and Strawberry are my favourite
1 C Spinach – I often use the spinach I froze if it was going bad, but you can use fresh.
1.5 C Liquid – I use Almond/Soy Milk and Water
1 TBSP Chia Seeds
1 TBSP Flax Seed
1 TBSP Hemp Hearts
Your favourite Protein Powder
1 TBSP Nut Butter – for added protein
Place all in a blender and BLEND!!!
Pour into a jar or cup and drink with a reusable straw. Cheers!
